# Division Management & Administrative Staff

Each product division has its own **management and administrative staff**. This is the division-level leadership that supports the EVP, sets the product roadmap, and turns the division's priorities into plans, budgets, and day-to-day management.

## Who's Who

| Role | Focus |
| --- | --- |
| **VP of Engineering** | Engineering execution, delivery schedules, and the engineering managers who lead the pods |
| **Chief Software Architects** | Technical design, system boundaries, and alignment with company architecture standards |
| **Group Product Managers** | The product roadmap, priorities, and the voice of the customer |
| **Program & Release Management** | Release planning, cross-team dependencies, and launch readiness |
| **Division Finance & Operations** | The division's budget, resource requests, and cost tracking |
| **Division People Partner** | Hiring plans, team changes, and division HR matters, working with People Operations |

## How Division Staff Is Organized

Each division's staff is split into offices that support the EVP:

| Division | Offices |
| --- | --- |
| Enterprise Software / Core SaaS | Office of the EVP; Division Staff |
| Cloud Services & Platform | Platform Engineering Office; Office of the EVP; Incubation Team Office (supports the Agile Incubation Team) |
| Emerging Technologies / AI & ML | Office of the EVP; Division Staff |

## Setting the Roadmap

1. **Each quarter**, Group Product Managers draft the roadmap based on customer needs, company OKRs, and the approved budget.
2. **Chief Software Architects** review it for technical fit and dependencies on other divisions.
3. **The VP of Engineering** confirms the pods have the capacity to deliver it.
4. **The EVP** approves the final roadmap. Anything that adds a major new product or changes company architecture goes to the Executive Product & Architecture Council first.

- Publish the division's roadmap, release schedule, and engineering guidelines.
- Handle division-level requests such as team transfers, training places, and tooling.
- Connect engineering pods with Corporate Shared Services when they need specialist help, such as security reviews or legal advice.
