# Division Executive Vice Presidents & General Managers

Each of Ammetra's product divisions is led by an **Executive Vice President (EVP)**, also called the division's **General Manager (GM)**. The EVP is accountable to the CEO for the division's products, people, and results.

## Role

The EVP runs the division as a business. Within company strategy and policy, the EVP has authority over the division's organization, roadmap, engineering teams, and budget.

## Key Responsibilities

- **Product leadership:** Set the division's product vision and approve its roadmap.
- **People:** Oversee hiring, development, and wellbeing of the division's engineers, designers, and product managers.
- **Delivery and reliability:** Make sure the division ships on time and its products stay reliable and secure.
- **Budget:** Prepare the division's multi-year resource request each year and manage its approved budget.
- **Standards:** Make sure the division uses the company's shared APIs, security protocols, and infrastructure.
- **Company-wide advice:** Sit on the Executive Steering Committee and the Executive Product & Architecture Council. In those meetings, EVPs set aside their division role and advise the company as a whole.

## Leadership Team

Each EVP is supported by a division leadership team:

| VP of Engineering | Leads engineering execution and the engineering managers who run the pods |
| Chief Software Architect(s) | Own the division's technical design and keep it aligned with company architecture standards |
| Group Product Managers | Own the product roadmap, priorities, and customer needs |
