# Regional Business Units

Ammetra's **Regional Business Units (RBUs)** lead the company's sales, deployment, and customer relationships in each part of the world. Each RBU is the single point of accountability for customers, partners, and growth in its region.

## Our Regions

| Business unit | Coverage | Focus |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **NAMER (North America) Business Unit** | United States and Canada | Our primary revenue engine, managing the major enterprise accounts in our home market |
| **LATAM (Latin America) Business Unit** | Central America, South America, and the Caribbean | Growing market share, localized support, and channel sales networks |
| **EMEA (Europe) Business Unit** | Europe, including the United Kingdom | Core European sales, regional data privacy compliance (GDPR), and client success |
| **MENA (Middle East & North Africa) Business Unit** | The Middle East, the Gulf, and North Africa | Go-to-market strategy and major enterprise accounts in the region |
| **Emerging Markets (Africa) Business Unit** | Sub-Saharan Africa | Sales, localized product deployment, and enterprise partnerships across the continent |
| **APAC (Asia-Pacific) Business Unit** | East, South, and Southeast Asia, and Oceania | Scaling product adoption, managing local engineering hubs, and driving growth |

## Role of a Regional Business Unit

- **Market leadership:** Own the company's growth, revenue, and customer relationships in the region.
- **Localized delivery:** Deploy and localize Ammetra's products for regional customers, languages, and regulations.
- **Partnerships:** Build relationships with local partners, resellers, and channel networks.
- **Compliance:** Make sure regional operations meet local data protection and regulatory requirements.
- **Customer feedback:** Bring regional customer needs back to the product divisions.

## How RBUs Work with the Product Divisions

The product divisions **build** Ammetra's products. The RBUs **take them to market**. When a regional customer needs something the products don't yet do, the RBU raises it with the relevant division's Group Product Managers. For complex or high-risk accounts, the RBU can call in the Elite Professional Services "Tiger Teams" from the [Specialized Global Divisions](https://docs.ammetra.com/docs/specialized-global-divisions/).

The Executive Steering Committee advises the RBUs to make sure what the divisions build matches what each market needs.

## Leadership

Each RBU is led by a **Regional President**, who reports directly to the CEO. Each Regional President is supported by a regional leadership team covering sales, customer success, finance, and people.
