Each of Ammetra’s product divisions is led by an Executive Vice President (EVP), also called the division’s General Manager (GM). The EVP is accountable to the CEO for the division’s products, people, and results.
Role #
The EVP runs the division as a business. Within company strategy and policy, the EVP has authority over the division’s organization, roadmap, engineering teams, and budget.
Key Responsibilities #
- Product leadership: Set the division’s product vision and approve its roadmap.
- People: Oversee hiring, development, and wellbeing of the division’s engineers, designers, and product managers.
- Delivery and reliability: Make sure the division ships on time and its products stay reliable and secure.
- Budget: Prepare the division’s multi-year resource request each year and manage its approved budget.
- Standards: Make sure the division uses the company’s shared APIs, security protocols, and infrastructure.
- Company-wide advice: Sit on the Executive Steering Committee and the Executive Product & Architecture Council. In those meetings, EVPs set aside their division role and advise the company as a whole.
